Once Manbeck Bakery, this 1913 building included stables used for wagon-delivery horses.
In 1962, the building was sold to Bear Engineering Company, a machine shop that worked exclusively for the naval depot in Mechanicsburg.
In 1992, Franklyn Levy drew up new plans. His architect formalized the plans and brought them into compliance for fire, handicap and safety issues, and submitted them on his behalf to the PA Department of Labor. The original hardwood floors and brick façade are in adherance to the strict Pre-1955 items that can be found within its 72,000 square feet.
